Transfer Foil Tape
Transfer Foil Tape is available in multiple patterns. Choose from: Shattered Glass Gold, Shattered Glass Silver, or Silver Prism. Sold in strips 1-5/8″ wide x 40″ long. Use this transfer foil tape to dress up your spoons, crankbaits, blades, or anything else you fish with!
To apply:
- Place a base coat on your lure. For best results, use black.
- If using acrylic paints, a clear seal coat may be needed over the base coat.
- Apply a thin coat of clear adhesive to the lure, such as mod podge or UV cure epoxy or finger nail sealer.
- Let the clear adhesive partially dry, to the point it is still tacky to the touch.
- Apply the foil tape over the clear adhesive as desired and press into place.
- Remove the foil backing from the lure. The foil pattern should remain in place.
- If there are voids in the pattern, repeat items 3-6 to fill the voids as needed.
- Apply additional paint as desired to the lure.
- Apply the final sealer to the lure.
